what is it with you and those desolate/bleak (not in subject matter but in composition) pics? *chuckles* anyways, it's always interesting to find out what others are visually drawn to... this pic was taken at Rouge Hill, Ontario, looking south towards Lake Ontario.
I wouldn't call it desolate; I see it as epic. Expansive and vast, the kind of scenic magnificence that makes you feel awed and insignificant all at once.
