My week began with an encounter of this disemboweled squirrel, lying on its back on a patch of cityscape green and squeaking, "help me."

Nooo, it wasn't squeaking anything. It was dead. But I wonder what it was squeaking before it died. My insatiable curiousity persistently questioned, "What happened?? How long did some hoodlum take to torture the rodent? And with what method?" A reader suggested that it was kicked with an aim. Was it murdered? Pre-mediated or an act ignited by an uncontrollable emotional turn? Or was it just a freak accident? Fascinating.

And what's this??? Please confirm that this is a dog.... with a problem?
